We will meet at 1:00 PM at the St Pete Bike Co-op. You will be issued a clue sheet and your team will ride the streets of St Pete to find the answers. Take a team picture in front of the landmark to prove you found it, and score as many points as you can. You will have 3 hours to get as many answers as you can. We will finish at The Ale & the Witch, 111 2nd Ave NE at 4:00 PM to check answers and tally scores. There will be prizes for the highest scores and smiles of fun for all. The venue has an outdoor courtyard with tables and chairs and adult beverages for purchase. The SPBC will supply hot dogs at the finish for all that attend and soft drinks for the kids.
Break out your townies, put on your thinking caps (helmets) and assemble your team. You can have up to 4 people on a team or bring out the entire family (as many as you have) for a fun afternoon of bicycling and learning about local landmarks and hidden gems. If you don’t have a team, don’t worry we will find one for you to join.
This is a show and go event, there is no need to register. Members and non- members are welcome!
You should have:
Helmet (required)
Face mask (required for The Ale & the Witch)
Water bottle
Pen or pencil
Fully charged Cell Phone (one used for pictures of all clues)
2nd cell phone for research (optional)
